I used to remember Guildcraft in 2015 as being massive, probably even bigger than, say, Archon or Wynncraft, obviously bigger than the previous server i was in (Legitplay, sad it used to be a big and lovely community, then descended to a small community which is further ruined by internal dramas), clocking at around 3000 players or so. Returning to late 2017, it wasn't really the same. There is no paintball anymore which i loved about Guildcraft, nor are there hunger games anymore. But this isn't the main topic, as the past is really the past and we must carry on no matter what. I know, i might be no one in here, a new comer (fairly new, joining mid-December), but i assure you, the bigger the server, the more problems will arise from it, certain staffs will grow to be power-hungry leeches, certain staffs will fail to do their duties due to real-life situation which we can't blame on, considering its urgency, and so on. This is why i prefer maintaining a medium-to-small number of community at the moment with loyal staffs who wishes to maintain this community and be determined to make this server as it was, a successful, thriving community-based server.
You didn't have to write all this, we've been trying to let aXed know all this for a very very long time now. No offense, Rabascm is the new AsyFrost, but hey at least AsyFrost was smart. GC isn't changing anything, power and fame has reduced the concentration & hard work that the server once used to have, or perhaps it still exists in some bits of it. I remember staff team, a year or two ago back then when AsyFrost, xph11, cyrus 1mraah and some others were H-A's, being a mod on GC was a really hard thing, it required you to be at least very trusted by the H-A's, be friends with them of course, not be insecure (something which 99% of the staff lacks), proper grammar, common sense, being professional and mature & everyone was focusing on making the server better ofc. Nowadays everyone's in for the fame, provoking members and if they provoke staff back or say something back to the staff they will get banned which is pretty fucking ANNOYING and what makes staff look immature and dumb. I also remember the head admin of a moderator used to protect the mod whether or not the mute is wrong, not saying this is right but if someone gets demoted for muting someone incorrectly that's the most retarded thing that was ever done. I'm a human everyone makes mistakes, another thing GC lacks is being professional. Staff aren't in for making friends, nor gaining fame. The complete opposite should happen, this is a "business", and it requires 3 basic things: Keeping the community clean Enforcing the rules Maintaining a professional appearance But instead we have staff *cough* singing "Let it go" for admin. GC Staff team is nothing more but: Fame and attention seeking staff Cringe and underaged, non professional and immature staff Staff that hate each other and want to see them banned or demoted This doesn't apply to all staff, I still know some people still care about GC and work very hard, are mature and professional and I don't regret meeting them. They all know who I'm talking about, they helped me on my GC short journey and I'm not saying this just because they're my friends, but I know it. Sorry to staff i have "offended", but i quite frankly don't care since banning me is what you wanted to do for a very long time, you all know who im talking about. because saying the truth nowadays will get you banned, how sad. and no gc can't change, it will never change it's just how it is it's not worth trying more.

Quinten can do whatever he wants, and if that means starting his own server then that's his choice. There are too many people writing complete essays, not realizing that we are talking about a game ("A game is a structured form of play, usually undertaken for enjoyment", yay Wikipedia). Yeah, you read that right. You are all talking about 'attention seeking' staff, yet you take every opportunity to talk about all the great things that you do/have done. I didn't get anything from the latest GC dramas, so I won't give my opinion on them, but a lot of posts made here are truly cringe-worthy.
Hero of my day only Melon is not corrupt the rest is dirty as **** but its true staff may make mistakes IF they will do it the next time right but know you have atm this is 1 big friendship and they are all rando's into the staff thing I am sure the faction admins don't even know what the real concept is being staff on a factions just banning kids who seems obvious no that's not the moral of being staff. server will never be the same nothing you can do to revive it anymore the cracked server demographic dropped as well, you don't see as many players on various cracked servers since no one feels the need to play on one since they have premium accounts all other popular servers are backed up by youtubers who show their audience the fun in the server but you won't find that with guildcraft since its not likely anyone with a lot of viewers would play on here
Although I'm banned,and I'm an very old player from the paintball days which i love this is soooooo true GC has died a lot with a big fat A.I really miss playing anni on it though
^ Exactly. The Archon was one of the biggest faction servers out there (if not the biggest). It also had thecampingrusher making daily faction videos on it. He got bored of MC and moved on and now the server has 13 players online as I'm writing this. Cosmicpvp had Prestonplayz, Lachlan, MrWoofles, and more. PainfulPvP has the arcane network. Hypixel and Minplex are both hotspots for youtubers. However, we have practically no YT rank. Not one to make it worth the effort anyways. And to build that kind of a following to cause a server to grow takes a lot of time and a lot of work and a lot of skill. A 12 year old (nothing against 12 year olds...) filming unedited videos with 20fps with bandicam and recording the audio with a $5 mic isn't going to cut it. Plus, you can't even advertise your YT channel here without getting banned. So hurray for letting ppl know about your channel to help the server? You might be able to put it in your faction description (unless that's been changed) but who actually follows those links? And I think you can put them on forums but forums is so slow that no video will load, so you have to follow it to YT which usually isn't worth the effort. Who else read this whole thread. I'm sure I did, loved this server for almost 4 years. Not giving up now; and never will. Thanks @Vojkea for all this support. Even though I'm not in any way associated with GuildCraft, I have been taught more life lessons on this server than I have at school. About betrayals, getting framed, hacks or unfair advantages (Yes I just admitted I have used hacks). My point is that all these little things in a block game add up to big things. Pce, R3D_G3KKO
i never want to take offense at you, or at anyone else I've known for some time, but I gotta say what I gotta say. I met you almost 2 years ago, when you first joined the skyblock discord server during its early stages. From that point you and TheRedDragonMC constantly lobbied for Mod on skyblock, driving me and the other staff members crazy (tho it was mostly TheRedDragon) - and after I see you decide to join Juzzy's server, You were always thirsty for staff, you bugged me constantly to give you permissions and make you a Channel-Mod on the discord server. Although you did do well in most aspects there were some assumption-related bans on discord which I decided to ignore for the time being but promoted you again later on again to give you a second chance. Then you applied for mod at skywars, which was completely out of the ordinary. While I was still staff I asked an admin to check your activity on GuildCraft, and you did spend most of your time in skyblock - you had recently started playing on skywars. I may be wrong, but it just feels like you targeted a server that not much people had actual interest on just because you wanted to be staff on GuildCraft. And a few days ago, when bluepyth asked for his 'resigned staff' role at discord, he sent me some dm's and info to prove he had resigned and not gotten demoted, and from what I saw, you and him resigned in order to be staff there, as he told blue (and you as well) that you needed to resign on GC in order to be staff on his server. I can't help but feel that you've simply been wanting to be staff for the fame. I've never really questioned your behavior itself, because I wanted to simply see what you would do - after you became staff you'd say to a member "it's a staff joke, you don't understand" and you did say quite some stuff that weren't so mature, etc etc. And just a few weeks ago you constantly asked me for perms on skyblock discord, however I didn't feel like you were doing so to actually help within the discord (although you would, probably), but father for the 'cool rank' factor - as you kept asking me to change the role color, change the role name, add more roles to your name, etc. I don't want to spend all day debating what you did right and wrong, but to me it seemed that you were rather becoming staff on GuildCraft rather for the fame and the 'staff' title rather than actually being motivated to improve the server. I may be wrong, but I'm just saying what I've seen so far from you. Think about it before you post a reply.
