Hello everyone,

I've noticed this days that GC falls apart!
How tf can we revive it if we aren't helping?

A lot of players post 'GC is dying' 'GC is ..' 'GC is ...'
Wtf guys, do u think u're helping GC?

U aren't even in the right road that leads to revive GC, U are in the wrong way, totally wrong.
Don't blame GC staff, blame ur self.
What have u done to help?
U are just smashing the hope, GC will never come alive if you're still on it.

Try posting suggestions! Try to do anything for GC's interest, We should be #One_Hand, if we're separated we won't succeed.

And also some of the staff members are LAZY, for example:
- Skyblock : I guess u all know xD
- Opprison : He can revive it but laziness everywhere, Mines X - Y - Z are piece of ***** sings are 100000km away from the mines, I started contacting him, and he told me 'Later', I msged him daily, DAILY 'please add the sign near to the sign' after 10 days 'I got ignored'
- Skygrid : Idek who is the head admin there, the average amount of players is 1-2 players, u can even go check it.
Please guys, Help somehow.

In the last period, I was working on a project which helps GC.
I'm going to list some here:

1- Adding tons of 'Games'.
-I'm a newbie , WOW gc has all gamemodes lemme play bedwars , and when he joins he finds only Skywars, eggwars, kitpvp an practice pvp.

Adding games will help, such as, Bedwars, Murder, Build battle, Skypvp, Lucky blocks war [etc.]

2- Updating maps.
Won't I get bored if I played the same maps for a year?

3- Advertisement.
And this'll be obtained by adding Games, Youtubers can start recording while playing and this will get us alot of players 'newbies'.

4- EVENTS.
Events like the maze that day on survival.

5- Administration.
GC should've the best administration ever, Such as, Demoting inactive staff, Promoting ppl who can see the other players suggestion, ppl who are worth it.

I got a lot more, but I need time to post them and I need to go school rn, cya.

how about fixing the vote system.

Doing this will inspire players wanting to vote and receive special buffs to play the game.
I find that works a lot with other network servers and am surprise that this vote system is not available in my favorite games. (annihilation)
Also the rewards for some servers are not quite good enough(to my opinion)maybe add some other stuff.(Make the players vote)

(this is important so that this server gets recognized more easily on the voteing leaderboards and the end result would be more players)

I take it that the staffs already know about this(or not) but if they do then they have there reasons why.(Maybe there not ready to manage alot of players when there are still bugs on the server to fix)
Until there ready to have more player then they will work on this.(i could be wrong, they maybe already have started)

I would like to help the staff with some things and I've applied already. just awaiting there response..

What can a mod do to help? can anyone tell me?(this applies to other moderators here too.)

i only think admins can help out more but you need to find the right players for the job.

I don't play that much on any other server but annihilation and practicepvp, rarely on factions.. survival & prison.

I'll be patient (am doing my best to).

Hey there,

I never thought I'd write this, but here I am. There are countless suggestions made about this on GC Server & GC Discord/Forums. I do disagree with each and everyone of them for very minor reasons, which I wish to state below. Many people on the community acquiesce, why is "GC" dying, how can we "revive" GC, well you can't. If you believe that the countless suggestions that are made, haven't already been considered/thought by staff then you're mind disorientated. Most of the users that make these posts seek attention (no hard feelings). There also comes that time that we have to agree that everything has an end, the MC community is descending, and we can not stop that. However, GuildCraft isn't dying. There are hundreds of players still playing, and donating which is a good thing to keep the server running.

MC Community, new and old players are focusing mostly on newest console MC editions, such as PE, XBOX, PS etc. Not everyone will start on PC like we used to. And the fact that MC was here for years, it is not as much fun and interesting as it used to be. Servers with unique gamemodes such as Hypixel's playerbase keeps growing due to them giving players opportunities to try out new things. Which leads us to the question, would you play factions, survival etc for 4 years straight? What also made the MC community descend, is EULA. Eula swayed many servers, communities due to stopping them selling perks such as kits, ranks with unfair in game advantage etc. This was a huge disavantage to GC.

As aXed has stated, 40% of the GC playerbase was Turkish (also most of the hackers/DDOSS attacks were from turkey), leading him to the decision of banning the whole Turkey country.

So in conclusion, because of the fact that the playerbase has descended this does not mean GC is dying.

I'd like to see old maps implemented. Along with the removal of anni. Make gc just a factions server again @BearMeat fix this shit already...

 

I can't see Axed doing something to revive guildcraft. Only staffs work for him, I joined a company called "SomeDay BringGCback" or something like that and all the staffs and players were helping and suggesting but axed wasn't even it it(I think). I don't know what happened to that organization, but the one axed can do is to get more youtubers and fix the vote system at least

aXed is the one paying hundreds for GC, he's the one who's organizing the whole network. Do you know the hassle of being an owner? It's pretty easy for you to get entitled to a certain opinion, I know that shit isn't easy. I'm talking from past experience. And I'm entitled to my opinion that your beliefs about aXed are completely bull. If you want to think that way, you can go ahead and leave the whole GC network forever.

Now, before you flame aXed for not doing shit, look at yourself. Constantly complaining and demanding, GC can't and will never be your way. You're not motivated, therefore you have no rights to speak against GC's playerbase or anything related to improving GC.

Well you're not helping it grow at all, and no you didn't spend 2 years in it.

Even if you did - GC was quite big 2 years ago.

Look, I just came to see the forums after a few weeks, and now another shit argument is happening between two players above, which I believe is one of the biggest reasons that GC isn't reaching another notch on the totem pole - people are always toxic here; it doesn't have to be swearing or any type of harassment, it's simply this stupid arguing with one another and trying to toss each other over with facts that hardly have to do with them. In the past few months, I've rarely seen actually friendly people. You can't expect to have a good server with such rude behavior to one another, I personally believe that 30% of the recent posts have to do with some type of heated argument between staff and players, either way. I must say I was involved in some, which is why I don't want to interfere anymore and cause more havoc - within the staff team, or the community.

GuildCraft can't stand again if it's not gonna do something about its toxicity. Right - it's not exactly swearing, but many players are literally bullying each other, not just trying to get under their skin. They're trying to hurt each other's feelings, but neither back down, and it eventually turns into a full-scale fight, which they usually start out from something stupid like 'You're not two years old on GC."

I'm not pleading towards anyone anymore, but I've clearly said that even simple things, like 'kid' or 'y' isn't helping the overall mood and tone of the community. No one is even caring about what is happening in the Discord chat - either the staff don't care or they're also swearing in the chat, which is in my opinion, not a hard thing to see these days.

Randy mods, lag, bugs, they really all come second. Even the phrase 'randy mod' gives a lot of stress to the staff team, considering that most of the people applied because they thought to be a good staff member. Calling them a randy, is simply hurting their existence not only in GuildCraft, but also in real life.

Also one more thing, I'm not sure why 4hmed told people to stop blaming staff when he stated that they're lazy. Some staff members may be inactive, but it's also wrong to group the entire staff team of a specific gamemode when they're could've been hardworking players too.

To be honest I don't think the community mood is something that is even fixable, but I just hate how people act so bullish here just because of the sole fact that they're using a username and no one can see their identity.

 

+ I was a part of the old GC forums. And however if you joined in game first, in 2016 GC was perfectly fine. So don't claim that you were always helping it.
