»Features I'd love to see again in Annihilation

    Remember pre-beta anni? Remember early beta anni? Well, I'm going to suggest some minor visual effects to make it more interesting, gameplay affecting suggestions will come later on that thread. I hope my suggestions will be a thing in Anni 2.0. Let's begin :

    The first thing I'd like to see again is the message:

    Green team's nexus has been destroyed by <name>

    The reason why I liked this is because you could see who ended your team and target them (jk)
    The real reason is because it is not something as basic or simple as a small message on the bottom of the screen. Killing a nexus is very important in a game and it deserves something more than announcing that is got destroyed, then disappearing in 2 seconds after it happens.

    The second thing I want is another nexus damaging sound. Seriously. This one is blasting my headphones when my team's nexus gets damaged or when I rush another team and damage their nexus. The old music block sound was a bit better, but people weren't THAT motiveted to prevent the sound, due to it being very soft. So, I suggest something like, idk, a TNT explosion or something, I really don't know.

    The third thing I want back is some of the old maps, such as the old Coastal and CoastalV3. Like, okay, the current Coastal is okay, but it's really simple as a map, and it doesn't have that sewer feature all old Coastal maps had. Plus, CoatstalV4 is pretty bland. It's a worldedited CoastalV3 with decent structures.

    Now that the non-gameplay affecting suggestions are done, let's get on with the others:

    1) Make Phase 4 have it's older purpose again.

    So, as most of us know, Phase 4 was a semi-important phase before the new anni came out. But now, we need it more than ever. Farmers get protection 4 and Sharpness 4 in no time and they start brewing potions. What potions do they brew? Strength, Regeneration, a few farmers brew Swiftness potions and some pretty clever ones brew Fire resistance, especially on maps that lava swapping is possible, such as Canyon. To balance farming a bit, make Ghast Tear, Blaze Powder and Glistering Melon only accessible after Phase 4. This will balance farming more, since it's pretty unfair now.

    2) Add Nether Portals.

    Nether portals were really useful back in the day. You could change your kit without losing your stuff, enchanting levels, and you had no danger of a "good teammate" taking your gear in the place you did /k. This is the reason I want Nether Portals back. I know, there was some kind of bug back then with them, but I think it can be fixed.

    3) Revamp Mid and Diamonds.

    Alright, this is a really important one. Remeber back before anni beta where the most epic midfights occured? All teams were fighting for the mighty diamonds that spawned after Phase 3. Now, there's no need of diamonds, since enchanters can easily obtain Protection 4 armor, which tears apart Diamond Armor. I'd say that making mid and more "civilian friendly" (I mean, adding melons, Archer Towers in some maps, an already built-in tp that spawns in Phase 3 so people can teleport to mid without the need of a transporter. That last one will motivate people even more to go to mid because Transporters are not in every team and sometimes it's hard to walk to mid to fight for 10 seconds, get killed and have to walk back there.) would make mid more important to players. Newer players will learn that diamods are more valuable than just full iron.

    4) Nerf XP gaining/Enchanter kit/Enchanting in general.
    If you have been knowing me for more than 1 day, then you know how against farming I am and you probably saw this suggestion coming. Farming is just a cheap way of obtaining XP to buy new kits, abilities, etc. Instead of using the only skill required in anni - aka rushing abilities -, farmers have turned anni into an endless and unfair PvP session where they fight leathers with some super OP gear. This has to change. Farmers before the new anni were highly respected just because having good gear and being able to kill more than 200 people (yes, there were that kind of farms before beta, I saw them happening). Now they are the most hated people in the whole server because farming is really cheap now. My suggestion to stop farmers is: Remove many redstone ores from mines, make enchanting consume all the levels you have gained (like 1.7) but with the only difference being that you can see what enchants you can do. I'm not pretty sure how this can be made, maybe it's easy to code. Enchanter can become more team kit than selfish kit by adding the ability to make your teammates get double xp when they collect ores or mine gravel. To make enchanters want to use this ability, we can add a feature where the person who uses it gets 20% more XP from mining redstone/gold/emerals/id. Cooldown will be 40 seconds and your teammates have this buff for 10 seconds. Also, delete this thing where you get bottles of enchanting and too many XP. Like, you get 2x more XP when you are Enchanter, but why not the same XP and when you use the ability your XP multiplier gets higher?

    5) Make iron armor/chain armor/gold armor/diamond armor and tools breakable again.

    I'm okay with soulbound being unbreakable, that's perfectly fine. But endless farms and rushes because tools are unbreakable? Heck no, make armor and tools breakable again. It's more fair.

    This is it. It took me like 45 minutes of my life to write, but I'm sure if they get implemented, they will help people. So, could you mind taking a look at them @Arjenpro and @parle ? That would make me happy :)

    +1 Btw Can U Guys Add The New Maps From Anni-4 To Anni-3 and Anni-2??? Becuz Of Some Player Though That Anni-4 Doesnt Work So They Never Play Anni-4 So For Now Anni-4 is probaly dead

    I'm anti farming but I'm a rushing master (srly lol)
    I like the you know that breakable and the nerfed exp thingy that would help a lot
    Most civilians quits on their first day because of farmers andd that sucks because GC anni should grow
    Anni is not supposed to die its supposed to grow

    We will not be adding this because It is too much work and Arjen isnt getting paid enough to do work so arjen will be back in 1 years when this server closes to resign bye!!!!

    I 100% agree with all of what u say, THIS CAN MAKE ANNI GREAT AGAIN, and btw dont make tools breakable cuz gold pick will break fast af when u rush.
    I also suggest x2 xp if u kill somone in ur nexus area(defending) and not getting xp for killing someone who spawned 10 seconds ago. (rip farm)

    Annihilation definitely needs to come back to its old state. Let's hope that the next updates will focus more on fixing the game mechanics etc.

    Add a small spawn protection... Just so we can get some extra hits on those farmers (I would say 1.5 seconds or so)

    I like that armor and tools don't break tbh, it's more challenging for the defenders, swapper and cat helps a lot when you defend against farmers.
