Hey guys, I'll make a thread that might trigger some people a bit,but it's true, and many people do agree with it. The purpose of this thread is to get all the people not to reply on reports that don't involve them, even staff, yes, even staff. Now don't get crazy,I'm not saying that staff shouldn't reply to reports as they should obviously do,but only the staff from the server that the player was reported in should apply. For example: Player 123 has reported someone on the server PracticePVP. The only staff allowed to reply imo should be the PracticePVP ones, and obviously head-admins and upper. Players should not be able to respond to reports as they are not involved (only the one that reported and the one/s that was/were reported),and neither staff that are not on that server should respond, they should just give them a fair warning privately for replying when not involved,as by telling them that in the report, they also reply where they're not involved. Just to make everything fair for everyone. So overall the purpose of this thread is simple. The only people that should be allowed to reply on reports are: 1.The player that made the report. 2.The player/s that was/were reported. 3.The staff members on the server the player/s was/were reported. 4.Head-Admins and upper. The rest shouldn't be allowed to reply,UNLESS they have proof that the report is fake/wrong. It's just common sense guys, don't get mad.
What if the mute/ban reason involves staff from other servers, which is a common thing? I don't know man, I 100% agree on normal players but but other mods should also have access imo.
Umm i dont agree cuz cant the person who got reported have somthing to say? and sometimes reports are too fake to be true and somtimes members (non-staff) can help the staff by proving the reports wrong i think that will make more of a Community effort and also will make reporting much more easier
Then let's allow everyone to reply,no? Your point is wrong here. I said the person that got reported is allowed to reply, even if he is staff or not. As for fake reports, you just need a few amount of working braincells to realise that it's fake,no matter if you're staff or not. But yeah you also have a good point,if you've evidence that the report is fake you can obviously reply,no matter if you're staff or not,but it's very unlikely to have evidence that the report was fake unless you are the player that was reported.
no its easy to tell if it is fake you can tell from everything i can make a fake report looking thingy right now but i wont since its against the rules Im not saying that your idea is bad im just saying that it would be a community effort and much more easier for the staff to answer
I think we should consider restricting Mods and regular members from replying to reports then. This will ease the issue out.
yeah when i went to the bathroom my mom came in and made this thread sorry :c --- Double Post Merged, Aug 27, 2017, Original Post Date: Aug 27, 2017 --- Good idea indeed, but I think it should also apply for helpers and admins that are not from that server, basically every staff member that is not from that server should not reply, the only people allowed to reply imo I mentioned in the thread.
I totally agree with this, it decreases post farming and makes the reports more organized. It's more than obvious that it should go this way, as we are supposed to delete/warn players without making an extra post about it. No, it's not their job to reply to reports, as they don't know our staff guideline, that's why we have staff members for that, also since we cannot cross-server mute and ban, it's obviously that only staff members of the following server can reply and deal with the report.
well if a admin says this i agree with it but i think it should be punishable instead of not even being able to post
No,a simple warn for players that reply where they are not involved in should be fair, players can include staff too for people who think that staff aren't also players. A simple and fair warning for absolutely everyone who doesn't reply where they aren't involved in is fair, this way postfarming is reduced and reports are more organised as Killer said. Easy, efficient & good.
If someone is postfarming he'll get punished with a warn, if he/she continues it will result into a ban.
thats what i said well i said now xD if a person says somthing in a report that will whatsoever not make any difference/help/change/correct/uncorrect,ect in the report they should get a warn which should expire after a few months and 3 reports = ban This is my idea however you may choose what idea you may choose to be
opps sorry just mistaken I think Im not Agree --- Double Post Merged, Aug 27, 2017, Original Post Date: Aug 27, 2017 ---
