»New Mute system is Ridiculous!

The problem is there are people who have been playing for 4 years!! And till now in 2017 they make a new rule about muting/banning.
In all those 4 years the people could have made a lot of mistakes in chat and get muted so they are close to 20 or even higher then 30 mutes.
So if you make this new rule then you need to reset all mutes because its not fair for old players. This rule is totally bs. Try to think before making a new rule instead of only banning banning and banning. I have seen alot of toxic admins/ mods swearing in chat and saying other crazy stuff thats muteable. But they are staff so they are not getting muted thats some kind of bullshit too what i have seen past few months

Okay, I didn't actually read the whole thread. As far as I am concerned, you will however not be muted if you're not toxic, immature, obedient and stubborn.

Take this as an advice, I'm not making an attempt to create a debate or to offend you.

One thing for sure, I was still playing in Guildcraft and chatting very frequently around a year ago (tho rules are updated and I still check in between), even if I was out from the staff team. How am I not muted nor banned during when I was still in Guildcraft? Think about it, if I can do it... Why can't you?

Everyone has different personality and may not be able to refrain themselves from anger therefor banning them from mutes is a little harsh as a froiendly community we should strive to help the player not to be toxic

Also since you touched on the financial part, trust me, block game badasses don't really tend to spend money on the server

Toxic is when you disrespect players and staff or cause offence.

 

It has always been a rule that when your to ''toxic'' you can get banned. But to say everyone who has 25mutes gets banned aint the right way to go in my opinion. Some players (including me) have been playing on this server for over 5years, no shit you can collect alot of mutes in that time. Doesent mean your toxic? The last time BM resetted was in 2013. Thats 4years....
I have 25mutes exact at the moment, well should I get banned than? Half of my mutes are for ''only english in main chat'' or things like that, but that aint even a rule annymore and it doesent affect the other players or doesent hurt annyones feelings.
If you want to punish it with a ban you have to look to each induvidual person, like they did in the past. Also some mods/admins said this count was only for mutes with a duration of 12+ hours so manny of you dont have to worry yet.

I'll talk abiut the first thing you accused me of. When exactly did I tried to start an arguement? When I said that you are toxic yourself? Or when I said that you are MCNuggets? The MCNuggets thing is closed and the fact that you are toxic is true. Alternative punishments should not even be a thing, because if you actually THINK before you type you won't get yourself muted, so, no ban for you and for everyone who will think before they type. But thinking requires a proper brain, which toxic people don't have.

"You make fake leaving thread" I'm so much more experienced than you onboth game and forum page, I know where to post leaving threads and generakly I know where every thread shoudl be posted, this is why we move threads from one tab to another. And you tell me that I make a fake leaving thread on Off-Topic? Dude, you have to be kidding me. This is the reason off-topic exists, from advertising videos and starting discussions that have no relation to the server to trolling and making jokes. Why didn't you complain to others who did it and you start crying that you fell for a troll on me? Maybe because mine was better aka I did my job better than others who posted similar threads? Either way, you're not right about crying over a joke that made you feel like a fool.

The should make a rule... Let's say you have no mutes in the last month or so. And you make a mistake and write in caps in chat or flood/spam doesn't matter as long it is a minor offence... they will just get warned because this mute system is too harsh in my opinion, but if they would continue spamming etc. they would get a mute!
*But this rule wouldn't tolerate racism/swearing any type of major offences!

i really like the money loss idea, but keep in mind that mods are also players, and they might not mute a faction member or something like that. if there is too much abuse the mod should not just get a demote, but also a tempban, but i really like that idea!
