»New Mute system is Ridiculous!

Ok many people I have loved or hated have been banned for mutes??!

Yes I know the server is trying to get rid of toxic players as they may think it's just the minority but it's turning into the majority!

If you ban players for a thing such as mutes it will reduce the population of guildcraft meaning less players will put money in yo pocket @aXed
When one players get banned they may have a couple of friends. I don't know about you but any good friend would go and play with their friend which means by banning 1 player you loose several players.

There are other ways to counter the toxicness of players. I myself have been targeted by the toxic players of guildcraft calling me a randy @uryfgoifh and telling me to leave @Broken_Robot but this thread is not about me it's about the guildcraft community. Instead of banning them give them other sanctions some ideas:

Loss of ingame money for each swear or mute
A bad sportmanship chat channel for the players that accumulate many mutes. Their chat can be temporary or perm changed to the badsportman chat channel (got this one from GTA)
A perm mute for those highly toxic players
Chat cool down for example 5 mins between every message

As you can see there are many alternatives to counter the toxic players. Banning is too harsh.

I myself only have 2 or 3 mutes (@uryfgoifh thanks a lot fam) but I care about the little friends I have on this server. I know most of you don't like me or call me the preaching randy but please see my side on this.

 

Thats a great idea m8, its a win-win for both sides, instandly muting players will feel very harsh, by giving them a chance they may change there idea's and do as told. But if they don't get that 1 or 2 chances they don't see a point continuing playing on that server. Its good that somebody comes up for those getting unneccery muted. I honestly don't get bothered by toxic players and if so i really don't care what they say. xD Anyway, good one m8. You're a good guy from what i see. Im kind of new to the Guildcraft commuity and haven't seen why people don't like u that much, u seem like a nice guy.

 

I disagree...In my opinion this rule is great everyone will hesitate on saying such word(they might get banned) every toxic player will look out..and try not to get muted..This rule will help the server a lot...so I'm sorry i'll have to disagree with this

 

you realize the new ban system for mutes goes as such
Toxic Behaviour ban 10 days. • 20th mute results in a 10 days ban. • 25th mute results in a permanent ban. If you manage to somehow go past the 20th mute ban its on you not staff we don't overlook repeat offenders. its like slapping them on the wrist for taking a cookie god knowing they will do it again later but removing the cookie jar from them they cant do it again. so if you disagree with the new mute ban system best advice stop breaking chat rules and start being respectful to others.

 

lol, i love how ur calling me the toxic one out of this when i havent been muted in like 5 months and u have been muted 3 times in like a month lol.

In the context you are talking about wouldn't the cookie jar be the chat? That is why I said they should be perm muted not locked in their room.

 

You realise that the only thing at is ridiculous is the toxicity of some players. Due to it, staff members decided to add this rule. But it seems that you want is rule to get out of existence because you are a toxic player by yourself. If you weren't, you wouldn't request removing this rule. And stop it, it's so obvious that you are MCNuggets_Bruh, stop denying it for god's sake. Your grammar is the same and your ideology is perfectly similar. Not mentioning that you appeared at the same time your other account got a forum ban.
You should be happy you are not banned yet, not requesting good rules to get removed.
Normally, I should lock this, but who cares.

WilyWaldo no..everyone has more than 25 mutes , i prefer 25 mutes = 10d ban and 40 = perm ban

Requesting to remove a rule that removes toxicity from the server shows that you are toxic yourself and don't want to get banned. Simple.

 

Why dont you and your friends just refrain from being muted, then you won't have to write a book on the forums about why everything is unfair. Cause that only makes you look childish
