Hello guildcraft community, Since there's a lot of drama going on on the forums, and a lot of people believe this is the end to guildcraft, I've decided to create this post to explain some things (how I see the current situation). You will see a lot of people on the forums and discord attacking staff, saying things such as: "OMG Devs aren't doing anything", "Admins aren't BANNING hackers", "OMG Raba is the reason everything's falling appart"... and so on. But, no one has asked themselves, "have I done something to cause what has happened?" "Am I contributing to guildcrafts death?" "If I acted in a different way, would guildcraft have more players?" Players do not understand, staff members aren't here to do everything for us, they're here to guide us on our journey thorugh guildcraft. We select which path we follow, either we become toxic or we become mature and friendly, either we play legit, or we download hacks, well let me tell you, your choice is one of the main things that determines the future of the server. People come on discord/forums/ingame and criticise staff members for guildcraft losing players, but have you asked yourself, what if it isn't all their fault? what if you could've done something and made guildcrafts death much slower? Here's the answer everyone's been looking for, the problem in most cases is in you, if you came to the point where you think there's no help for guildcraft, that it's dying and you should just quit, you've made guildcraft lose 1 player, 1 by 1 and there goes 2000 players. I'm not trying to blame regular members for everything, it's all of our faults, for example, we (non-staff members) could make more suggestions, but then again, Managers/Devs could implement fresh updates more frequently. Saying "GC is dying, there's no help" 24/7 isn't going to make it magicly alive again, if you want to help guildcraft, here's what you should do Go Make suggestions/tutorials/videos, and at the end if/when guildcraft dies, if your suggestions don't end up being implemented into the server even tho they've been creative and could've made a significant impact, before the server ends, then, ONLY Then, you'll be able to say "It's the staff teams fault, I've tried everything to help guildcraft, but they wouldn't listen to me". I mean, the main issue here is that not many new people are joining guildcraft, and even the people who join, quit fast in most cases, now you'll probably say it's because guildcraft staff do nothing, but do you want to know WHY new members leave the server? Here's the answer: 47 people (doesn't matter if they meant it or not) jokingly or seriously voted that they hated him, 79%! of players voted that! You might think it's a joke and that it's funny, but keep in mind, who knows how old the new player is, his native language might not be english, he might have a problem unserstading your so called "jokes", and there goes, 1 more player, gone... Now, just by saying, "Yeh man, we love playing with you.", it could've changed a whole lot, he could've became an active member, donated, invited 10 more people to the server, those 10 could've invited 10 of their friends to the server, and so on... In conclusion: I understand, I'll be getting bashed for this really hard, but this is just my opinion, I've changed so much throughout my journey on guildcraft, first I've thought blaming staff would get me somewhere and help the server, the only thing it got me was a PERM ban (took me 10 months to realize how wrong I was for the things I've said). Before you try to change others, try changing yourself, and you'll see a positive difference in just a few days. -Vojkea out.
Sorry, but I don't understand what you're trying to say, could you form a readable sentence so I can reply to it, Thanks <3.
Just to inform you, I got unbanned already, I'm playing guildcraft regularly, and I just wanted to share my opinion. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me or if I offended you in any way.
this is very impressive > Applause never meet mature player like you, only few everyone here just kid even some staff member too that makes so much drama and can't take critics nice bro keep going
eh id say one of the main reasons new players leave is because its so p2w. in servers like faction or kitpvp new players can't do anything because of the p2w or op players.
Plus they love delaying release or just a reset, My friend was hyped that OpPrison was rekeasing but it got delayed more than 3 times. He quit minecraft after that I don't know if it's the delay reason or smth
I am agreeing to hard on this post rn Look at the fac / anni / kit or any server that has PvP, most of pvpers turned into toxic players and dont give a fuk about sht happening to gc, not realizing that they are the part that it should be cut out and must be destroyed. But I just wanted to say something, I am not disagreeing or objecting this post, but I could have made the community better but somebody stopped and couldn't do anything to make community better. Back half year ago, I was staff on skyblock, Mostly active on the midnight and noon. Afaik I have muted over 150 players or so but thats just my assumption I was planning to get to p-admin and wanted to stop hackers, which I think one of reasons that pvpers turned toxic and became hateful. I got accepted, and then Asy stops me from getting admin Strikes false ban on me I know most of active staffs or old staff who were against me would say that I have no proof that I did not use hacks but they dont either. Only proof they have is just lines of code output from TAC which can be just easily written in any text editor or even notepad. Killauras need vid evidence man Ok Ill be honest, I think I was one of toxic players in the community. Yeah the two of false bans made me go nuts and hate the staff team Sry for such long post, but I should probably behave myself better. (Psst, not to mention staff chat goes insane with swears and racism, also spams making server chat unreadable.) Thank you for reading ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ memes
