This gamemodes purpose is to damage the nexus as much as you can and occasionally PvP. Pepinab is doing the exact opposite of it, he even lets teams at 1 hp just to farm, something that triggers many people even more

I believe the reason I have loved anni for so long isn't because it has all the fancy updates and so on, it's because it's a hard game and always has been and is far from perfect in many ways but there is a beauty in that, it is almost always a challenge for me, one that i rarely succeed at. So what I'm saying is that while you have a good point, anni is still anni, and saying that it is "1000 times worse" is an over statement.

But I do agree with you, anni has degraded over the years as most things like this do, every game there is a farmer or dozens of them filling the goldmines scrambling for ore and trying to get ready before anyone else in the other teams, GC has adapted it, trying to make it more fun and easier, just look at EyronPlainsV2, it's got bigger mines, easier ways to attack nexus via sewers and a nice open mid, all of these things are solely to make it easier for players, and it's not just the maps, it's all the other little add on's that GC has done to make things more fun over the years.

It's like they believe that if it's easier it's more fun, NO NO NO the harder it is, the more fun (at-least for me).

They removed the other maps because everyone seemed to hate them, and now everyone wants them back? listen to you guys. if you loved them so much then you should have said you liked it and played it more often.

While undoing the things they have done may make it better, at the same time maybe you will realize you dislike it the way it was before and wish you had said nothing instead. lol

(just my thoughts on the subject though i am not the best authority on this case. XD)

like p2w wasn't a thing(barely 10 people had boosters in the server)
Amazing mid fights(not that this has changed, but it doesnt happen anymore due to swapper traps)
