Noob. I played with 400 - 450 ms ping for at least 2 years. Didn't complain.
Later my net got upgraded, and got 250 ms.

if you are using WIFI .. then you have no chance of getting better internet
use an ethernet cable trust me it's super powerfull your internet will become like X5 times better

what is your expected up and down speeds , what do you get if its off by a lot phone your current provider and tell them that the package you have is not working to the full potential it should be and you will be changing provider if they don't work on fixing it happened to me before i got a free upgrade on same price for a full year! but now I'm back to paying way over what i really should xD
