Ok so my computer shuts off while i am playing a game, it will get overheated and will turn off i have tried to change my laptop cable ( voltage) and it didnt work i have tried to clear it from any dust it didnt work tried everything it doesnt work can you guys help me ??
Change your battery settings to 'Battery Saving'; clear your junk files; restart your PC. Your situation is very vague, try doing what I recommend first.
My friend had this problem with his laptop, he put an icepack under it lmao (it worked) What you could do is try to ventilate it, because it gets to hot. So all you have to do is find a solution to cool it down and it will work just fine
This is usually a heat issue, if there's dirt clogging the inside fans it will have to be disassembled and cleaned out. Make sure when you use your laptop there's nothing blocking the cooling vents. Usually if you sit it on a blanket or carpet there's no way for the air to flow.
ok i will try that thanks!! i play on a desk so there no chance for air not to flow away im also thinking on buying a cutting board a like that has fans to cool it ye and some ice from penguings ( or pingu xd ) ill try to get a fan or something xd i did that its 100% legit its fixed ( jk ) --- Double Post Merged, Mar 19, 2017, Original Post Date: Mar 19, 2017 --- currently i have changed the batery saving to what u said junk files are all removed but the computer fans are now making a lot of noise.
try buying a cooler --- Double Post Merged, Mar 19, 2017, Original Post Date: Mar 19, 2017 --- u using laptop or pc?
If you have overclocked your CPU, GPU (Graphics Card), RAMs, then please confirm from Google if your computer can handle the amount of heat it is getting by the overclocking. However if you haven't overclocked it or anything, it just might be time to change your computer because there's a high chance that old CPUs produce more heat resulting it to overheat, and eventually, shutdown. Especially mid-game, as you said because games, graphics, video editing software, these types of applications take a lot of memory which some old computers are unable to handle and have to shutdown to cool the heat off. -Wiz
If ur playing on a PC. Then try opening the lid of ur CPU and then see if it shuts off.also try switching on ur ac with the lid open (lmfao)
This is so ez.. Clean ur laptop, Remove all Dust, Change ur laptop Cpu thermal Paste. And Go to Bios Check ur bios Health monitor your Cpu Temp.
Its now working pretty well when i changed the battery mode to battery saving mode ok i will try to do that Laptop
maybe should've bought a new toaster instead of using almost 1000 euros on a cracked mc server ay ? ay ? my computer doesnt shut off well @ScarYHD there is many causes for it to shut off if your whole pc ram gets filled to it's max the pc will shut down with no option to cancel it else your ram will literally get rekt also if your processeur heats up way too much it'll shut down and then keep shutting down over and over untill you do a significant solution one of the options that happend with older 2 potato pcs is that your hard drive gets full that's why you want to create more than one disk file to store your files if you store many things in the same file that your windows OS is installed at your pc will start by being slow then slower then slower then unusable then it'll shut off each game you play THEN shut off right after you start up your pc OOOOO right before i click post i remembered a thing do me a test right when you start your pc before you start so you dont get shocked take off your pc's cover so you can take a look at your processeur fan and notice if it's ALWAYS working i got a pc right near me and it's fan stops on ocasion so you got all of these options check them and tell me the results else it might be a virus if a virus is in your pc shutting down will be it's last phases and your most efficient solution is to do a full erase and start from ground 0
Dude comon me and cyber have our whole system mounted inside our refigirators u gotta step up the game boi And no im not g@y --- Double Post Merged, Mar 19, 2017, Original Post Date: Mar 19, 2017 --- You sir are a 10 year old who doesnt know anything about pc cooling just laying your lazy ass down on your grandmas chair eating doritos drinking dew and hoping that your TOASTER wont HEAT UP and crash. Kys by inserting your brain into the toaster. Jk
Can you tell me your operating system and what Cpu, or Apu you are using. Try geting new cpu's such as core i3 and higher. the new generations have multi_threading which causes less overheating. Remember if you are using Amd or Core i5 turboboost and overclock, it causes the cpu to get to hot. As someone said, you might also need to get a new thermal paste on your cpu since they can expire especially if you buy an old refurbrished laptop that someone has already used. There should also be a software already installed for your graphics card or Cpu. You should definitely check it out http://imgur.com/a/jmwqB You might also need to get more RAM for your computer since it will put less stress on your cpu
My pc was on for almost a month no joke and i dont even have a good setup, infact its a stock dell pc... with shit cooling(normal fans) Idk how it didnt crash but it did get pretty choppy so had to restart. One thing i do is that i physically clean my pc from the inside cuz alot of dust settles on the fan blades resulting in more shit cooling.
