»Why GC lost players (very important)

So this is pretty cringy that every 3rd-4th day we see a post about some kid whining about GC losing players mainly because
-hackers have invaded GC
-Admins and mods are too lazy to ban hackers
-The staff isnt fixing the bugs etc
The cringeworthy posts never stop.
I thought the gc community should had been informed about this but wasnt infact.(im saying this on the basis of the forums, axed never made an official post about it)

The reason behind GC losing players was that some guy from Turkey did a DDoS attack GC resulting in all the players from Turkey IP banned(region ban).
That is the main and only reason GC lost players.

And next time if you see a forum post about a guy quitting and whining about hackers and bugs being the reason of his farewell, tell him to fk off. 80% of those guys are quitting cuz his/her parents are putting a stop on his/her nolife for the game.

That's right, before Turkey was IP banned, Survival Server never reached 150 players again (maximum players).
But that's not aXed, neither hackers fault.
Minecraft is a game that only kids play (at least mostly), and since some kids are too bad to play fair, they use hacks, get banned, then rage out and quit. We can do nothing about that but keep what we're doing, reporting hackers and calling staffs to ban them, or... be one of the 20% of people who quits because of hackers.

 

I never said its axed fault nor hackers. i think you didnt get my point. About axed, i meant he didnt inform us about the region ban. so players thought it was cuz of hackers and bugs and made HUGE rants about gc staff and GC overall.

Thats right but you have to consider the birth rate aswell, i believe if 1 guy is quitting minecraft 2 other kids will most probably play it(its not a fact, im assuming that)
