»New staff order!

Hello everyone!

As you all know the staff order of GC follows like this

Mod - Helper - Admin (Player-Admin)

But new players are getting confused of this order,
because many of them think, that Helper is worse
than Mod. Which sounds quite logic, because
a helper "helps" the server. So I thought of replacing
their positions which should look like this:

Helper - Mod - Admin (Player-Admin)



So yeah, that's everything what I want to share with you.

yeah dude. no one likes helpers. they dont even have their own teamspeak tag

Very good and it would also have a very positive input on the server,+1 from me.

 

Helper does sound lower then mod if you dont know the system in your head.

But its not a big deal

Nope, I disagree about mods getting perms to ban.

Then admins are almost basically useless + some guy can act nice for 3 months get mod and then aboose

 

Cause they have to be trusted to get the banning permission. You can't just give someone new a permission to do it. You must be sure that he can do it properly and confidently, and not ban every person that kills them.
Also what would admins be for then?

I just like how the system is now and I don't think it should be changed.

 

The helper rank is just a way of the head admin giving his staff member a higher rank and showing him that he has a bit of trust in him now.
It is a step further to getting to the admin rank.

 

what about changing the rank helper to something else? used to have a server ranks go helper, mod, s-mod, admin, superadmin, operator, dev, owner with helper only having the ability to mute while mods only get mute and kick the ban permission was given and taken away at s-mod because of abuse.

This would be very complicated. I think the heads want just a simple order of the GC staff system.

 

Im meaning change helper title its easy to change on plugins and permissions. I used my old server rank list as an example. Why not change it to like Sr.Mod or change mod to submod and give helper mod

 

1 year ago I thought that mod is the highest...but I think its better Helper-Mod...It will be very better..plus Than Mod can have /tempban not /ban.....I know that Helpers and Mods dont have perm to ban temban But If we go like helper-Mod..maybe mods can get /tempban

 

I Disagree With Your Disagree, Mods Are The 2nd Lowest Staff Member But A Helper Should Just Be Able To Mute. Mods Stand For Moderator So They Should Be Able To Do The Banning Etc... Like An Admin But Without The Niggly Little Bits Like /v or /eco etc...
