Well, factions is a gamemode for brutal pvpers, raiders with strategies to raid bases. Etc. In my opinion, it is the most challenging gamemode. Once you get raided, you loose all your stuff + this gamemode takes a while for you to be on top (learning how to cannon, base building, money making, decorating, learning tricks, tips, these things took me 2 years and I have yet 100% mastered it as I don't think that I will ever do although I am considered as a decent faction player). Anyway, on the other hand, survival is a peaceful gamemode, yes, it has warp pvp, but it mostly focus on the money making, building aspect. If you like to show off your building skill, if you want to be the man to own everything and if you want a peaceful environment, it is the perfect place for you. In conclusion, factions is great, survival is great too. Comparing the difficulty, I guess factions will lead that but comparing the use of idk... Logic? Intelligence? to make money, survival is better. We can't compare these two aspects I guess :/ if you are new to minecraft, u should start on survival first, otherwise you are gonna cry your ass off after getting raided on factions.
It does not make sense. Both of these gamemodes are entirely different and have entirely different goals. In factions you would want to kill all your enemies and make your faction the strongest and the richest, while in survival you might wanna make alot of friends and do cool stuff with them, like exploring mines, making redstone devices, mob grinders, etc.
Factions is fun because of its intense, survival is fun for its peace and survival have lots more friendly comunity than factions it depends of what are you intrest i personally like factions because of it intese gamemode and pvp related server
Survival does get boring at times, since you just build and sometimes pvp, but if u have none of that to do, it's boring af
Ikr but pvping for some people is boring and building for some people is boring and there is people who likes to just build and pvp so its depends of the every person favor
