»GuildCraft Survival - A Fair & Just System!?

Hello pplz of GuildCraft,

I'm not really an old member, fairly newish to GuildCraft still. This is just something I've had on my mind for quite sometime. I've noticed people aren't treated equally. Now you can say everyone isn't equal (some have more moneyz to donate) and that's totally fine. But, regardless of how much moneyz you've donated you should be treated fairly and equally. Here's a couple of random stuff I learned:

1) First Row Spawn Plots (Maybe Nether ones too) - Tend to get taken away (unclaimed) in the first day or two and end up claimed up some higher ranked member (probably a friend of the admins / staff, who knows. amirite). And yes those plots were fully claimed so you can't argue with that lame excuse lel. Now before you say "don't accusate" its happened to 3 people I know. (3 ppl "I KNOW" there's probably more) It's been happening way before I was even a part of GuildCraft I supposed. Anywho at least we can get 2nd/3rd row plots without having to worry about that. Right?

2) Second off, ranked members tend to get off easy compared to regular members. A little bending of the rules here and a little there. But not the case for regular members. (#Feelsbadman) (#ProllyGonnaStayDisWay)

3) Why have staff (mods / admins) if there can't be someone online 24 hours a day lel (just split up the shifts). This was most relevant during the massive lag spikes that started before the reset. #404 Admins not found. On about the 4th day (I mean does it really take 4 days to realize there's a problem going on?) an admin shows up. Now you might argue that Admins were powerless in that situation but it still helps having someone to rant to / talk about the problem that's a staff member. Getting back to this, when staff members aren't around certain stuff that should be muted / temp banned gets overlooked and other get in trouble just because its their unlucky day and the staff member is online. What happened to #Equality? If you can't punish all the wrong doers don't punish everyone? Just doesn't seem fair / just.

4) There's probably other sketchy stuff going on that I'm not aware off. Feel free to share if you know of other stuffelz.

Okay, some of your points are correct. Not all of them though.
Look, bud. This is a p2w server. If we are talking about gaming perks/privileges, NO NO WAY NOTHING IS EQUAL. This server has extra perks for wallet p2w players and a Member can never match up with a titan.
If we are talking about the social side of things- How are people treated etc, Its totally fine here! The staff- (the people I know) are caring to the members and answer all their questions kind of stuff. When I first joined GC, I had no idea what to do. I didnt even know that we had land claims in here. I went to the global and simply asked like a noob ''How do we claim land?'' I expected a lot of hate but there was NONE! I actually got real help. No harassment. Nothing. GC has one of the best communities I have ever seen.
For the spawn plot thing you are bringing up, Players can NEVER have their plot removed without their permission if it wasnt of one of these things;
The owner of the plot is banned for doing stupid sh*t
Inactivness of Plot: Plot not used lel
Inappropriate build
2 spawn plots, in any warp.
First ask your ''people you know'' the exact stuff that went down. If they did nothing wrong on their side, Then you can ask them to file a support ticket and the staff WILL help. They care for normal members. They can tolerate noobish behavior.
How do you figure that ranked members get off easy? Give me some circumstances. In fact, ranked members DESERVE MORE PUNISHMENT if they did something wrong than normal members because they have been part of the server for so long they would have learnt the rules by heart.
The admins, you say? Have you read the term ''personal life'' by any sorts? They are not paid (as far as I know). And no one can be guarantee online 24/7 (even in shifts). There can be always personal issues arising, and they also have the right to live on their life, not stay on the computer like 12 hrs a day. GC is also not even their real job. What do you expect? The admins are trying, I sense it. And aXed only had the power to restart/reset the server because of lag, Admins cant do anything of that sorts. Why would you talk to the admins if they have already told you that they cant do anything? Why would you "rant" with them and waste their time? Do you want the admins to lay you on your bed, put a blankie over you and tell you everything will be okay?
On a positive note, I am done writing.


PS- I know I am not a staff member and I dont have the right to speak for the staff. But I have been on this server for a solid 2 months now. I know how stuff works. Give them a chance.

 

1) tbh you are just mad that you didnt get a plot.
Survival opened, no one knew a specific time so players where just waiting in the lobby.
If you were online at that moment you could claim a plot, this has nothing to do being a friend of an admin/donater. Axed/cyrus even kept some admin claims to unclaims these later to make it more fair.

2) not really, I am always neutral friends/donaters/non donaters. Only thing that I can think off is that donaters know the rules a bit better sometimes.

3) no one is saying that you can't report anyone on forums so if you cant have admins online 24/7 there should be no admins? Lol. So if you aren't online 24/7 there shouldnt be members?

Spawn Plot? Pshh that's BEEN like that. OFC higher ranked ppl get it
Bent rules? Pshh higher ranked ppl swear? Admins laugh; "Regular Members" swear? Muted for 12 hours
Admin/Mod can't be helpful? Pshh They only help higher rank ppl

Okay buddy I'll reply to cover all the things you said:
1) I said its totally fine "people aren't equal" I said it's not fine they aren't treated equally kek.
2) As for being treated "nicely" just before the reset I was told to shut the f**k up cuz admins can't do anything about the problem" so I mean there's that. And that's where the ppl aren't treated equally part comes in. (At the time i had no rank)
3) I never said the staff wasn't "helpful"
4) The people who had their spawn plot taken told me it was fully claimed. If they were banned they wouldn't have been able to tell me. Nothing was built on the land. And obvs they aren't nubs to claim 2 lands.
5) Okay true they can't be online 24 hours a day. That's fine. But there's was a lag crisis 4 days in a row without the presence of an admin for 3 days straight. They just all happened to get busy with their personal life for 3 days straight?
6) The admin (CCprincess) told that admins can't reset on the 4th day. Would have been much more helpful on the 1st if not 2nd day. Was also told that head / global admins could fix the lag (possibly by resetting the server) so guess that was a lie. 123.

 

I've seen ranked members swear ("accidentally") in chat and no mute. Same thing with a regular = DROP DA BAN HAMMER >
But the spawn plot thing is prolly the biggest issue. That's sort of like abusing powers. And making support tickets doesn't help cuz you just get ignored.

 

Tbh I have a nice 2nd row spawn plot. So not mad. I never said OH WAIT we weren't able to get on at the right time to claim. I specifically said plots that were claimed got unclaimed and were then in the possession of another player.

 

If the plot got unclaimed that was done by the owner, that has nothing to do with staff
Only admin claims.

 

If it was unclaimed by the owner it won't be a problem.

So you think if a donater walks up to cyrus & asks, Hey could you unclaim this plot? He would do it since he is a donater?

 

Idek, you tell me. I'm just conveying what people are maybe afraid to talk about or think its a waste of time to try to argue over on the forums. I know 3 people its happened. 2 people I know personally and 1 /w'd it to me. #Feelsbadman

Welp, the best I could get was a "before" screenshot. The screenshot shows this plot was claimed by the member.

But later the land was unclaimed (not by the owner) and there was a brand new owner to the spawn plot. This was before the current reset. Not sure what kind of logs you keep but if you have logs about claimed spawn plots you could easily find out. Unfortunately there's no "after" picture. The link to the image is as follows:

P.S - To the regular members who try and claim 1st / 2nd row spawn plots. Make sure you screenshot your claimed land. And in case it does get unclaimed "somehow" screenshot a picture of the plot with the name of the new owner.

I was made aware this occurrence of claimed spawn plots (plots fully claimed, no inappropriate builds, etc) getting unclaimed without a reason is fairly common. If anyone else has "proof" / more information feel free to send it my way in case you're too "shy" to speak up lel.

1) There is two types of equal (for me at least)-
People have equal gaming privileges, /fly /kit titan etc
People have the right to speak up; they are being mistreated.
I said that people dont have equal gaming privileges. I said that a normal member was no match for a titan.
I DIDN'T say that the second type of equal is not present. It is present, and the staff takes care of everyone as a whole.
2)Who told you to shut the **** up? I know it wasnt the admin, I know it was just a noobish member trying to get attention. Pls dont mention this stuff if it was not done by an admin. We are talking about the staff in this point.
3) You did complain about #equality, and I replied that the staff is helpful to everyone, they disregard their rank and treat everyone as EQUAL.
4) Technical issue, ARE YOU SURE that the player did nothing wrong and nothing was wrong by his side? I need an admin to cover this point here.
5,6) If the admins can't help, why would you want them? My point still stands. Common sense that the admins cant do anything to fix the lag, this sort of power lies with aXed. Also, who again told you that head-admins can fix the lag? Be more specific.
