    Dear community,

    Mojang (The creator of Minecraft) has started to enforce the EULA. Many Minecraft Servers including GuildCraft have received emails about this.

    What is the EULA?
    The EULA is a list of rules we automatically accept when starting a server. These rules state that we may not sell items or perks which improves the game-play for the buyer. You can read all about it here: https://account.mojang.com/documents/minecraft_eula

    What does this mean for GuildCraft?
    This morning I heard that we're added to a blacklist for the up-coming 1.9.3 update. The blacklist is only active on that version so do not update to 1.9.3 yet. 1.8.* and 1.9.1/2 are perfectly fine for now.

    We are currently in contact with Mojang in order to get us of that blacklist. That means we will have to change our store to comply with the EULA. We're hoping to receive a new date on which we have to comply so that we can prepare new purchase options. So yes we will comply with the EULA.

    What changes?
    We will no longer sell the current ranks and most perks in the future, there will be a new set of ranks and perks which will be EULA compliant.

    Ranks and perks purchases before this will not be removed. You will keep all current non-eula compliant perks. The old ranks will become so called "Legacy Ranks".

    There will be a 50% sale until we release the new set of ranks and perks.

    FAQ

    Will I lose anything I've bought?
    No, you will keep your rank and perks. The current ranks will simply be no longer available at the store but you will keep it if you already bought it. All the perks will also stay.

    When will the new ranks be released?
    This is currently unknown since we're in contact with Mojang in attempt to get a new date on which we have to be compliant.

    What can we expect?
    The newest ranks will have perks for chat related content, particles, hats, companions, pets and anything possible within the EULA. I do hope they will give us more breathing space since these perks are quite limited. And I'm afraid we will have to start advertising on the website and in-game. Feel free to post your ideas for ranks and perks but do read the EULA first.

      We will survive but we might need to remove servers as UHC and some minigames to lower the cost.

      And we do not yet know if they will also start blocking servers in 1.8 and such so we wont risk that for now. But we will try EULA compliant first. We will ignore the EULA if it does not work out. The server will always be reachable but people might need to use other clients.

      They are not gonna sue so there is not allot of risk in ignoring it but I just want to try. Anyhow you can help us by tweeting or letting Mojang know that it is bullshit to have such strict rules.

      Also you should remove servers that no one even plays. Like Skygrid, PotPVP, Faction Black etc. Also you may reduce some arenas. And also you should open a donation thing where people can donate as much euros they want to donate for the server.

      If GC Turns into a Prem Server(Has a Chance to turn into)But im Using a Cracked acc is there a possible way to Transfer my Rank to a Prem? Cuz if there is im willing to get a prem and Transfer it

      Potpvp ik very less players are on i think max was 200, which is very less.

      This is gonna change alot of things :c and kindly do not "assume" things such as GC getting premium or going on hiatus or anything similar. If there's a needed announcement aXed will do it :)

      my opinion is that the P2W action should remain normal.
      members can also be very strong and OP.
      I just hope we can keep our perks and ern can still enjoy.
      or @aXed made a too OP Pc for nothing XD
