So i watch some youtubes videos of antvenom and other guys, they said that because kids are taking their parents credits card, use it for donating on the servers and don't even let their parents know. So MoJang decided to fix this issuse by letting all the servers 1-2 month to stop it. If you join GC with 1.9.2 pre-2, you will see that they gonna say: "Network is Unreachable" But others server, they just say that: "OutDated". So idk, is GC gonna get blacklisted because the youtubers listed the servers may or may not gonna get blacklisted and one of them is GC
It's ridiculous for Mojang to try and blacklist a server so big as GC, and it's their parent's fault about the whole credit card fuss, not Mojang's, so I don't know why they would try something so radical. Even if GC gets blacklisted on 1.9.2, we can always go back to 1.9 or heck, even 1.8, nobody liked 1.9 anyway. And YouTube is a horrible source of information, please don't believe everything you see there.

Kinda, but not exactly. Apparently it's because Mojang hates Pay-2-Win servers. Because it's unfair to people without any source of income.
Mojang doesnt get you need money to run a server, what you get by donations. And by having this super strict eula you can't have a decent job.
