Oh wow you are actually right, just checked the IPs and they are indeed hosted in france, and they are using OVH which is a great hosting...
GuildCraft isn't hosted in EUROPE as I said, it's hosted in USA, that explains why your ping is much higher here.
I'm telling you how the technology works, having 100 ping as you say is the NORMAL one, it also comes down to the ISP you use, the speed you got...

Yeah, if @aXed made a poll to find the ages of ppl that play GC he could then come up with a reasonable time that would work for the MOST players.
